I know I shouldn’t complain because when God hit me with the talent stick, He gave me quite a bit of talent (mastering crafts, writing, being awesome, etc.) … I just kind of wish he hit me with the ability to sing well.
A couple of weeks ago, I introduced you to Susan Boyle from “Britain’s Got Talent.” A frumpy-looking woman with an amazing voice. Now, I’m introducing you to Hollie Steel, a 10-year-old girl with a fantastic voice.
She’s a typical cute 10-year-old … at first, I thought her talent was prancing around the stage in a ballerina outfit, but then she started singing “I could have dance all night” from “My Fair Lady.”
For a 10-year-old, Hollie Steel blew me away. She has an amazing voice, and from the looks on the judges’ faces, they were clearly impressed with her talent. So, once again, go to youtube.com and look for Hollie Steel.
However, I must admit … I still favor Susan Boyle, probably because I can relate more to her than I can to a 10-year-old. As much as Hollie impressed me, Susan Boyle’s story tugged at my heart.
